Initially there are 2 ways to access your VPS:
- SSH or
- via the web console provided in the VPS control panel
After the VPS has deployed, you can add additional remote access methods to your requirements (e.g. RDP, VNC, etc.)
Any SSH client software can be used to connect to the VPS.
By default our Linux VPS are intended for carrying out server based operations, therefore no window desktop is provided out of the box.
However, you can install any Linux window system & remote access software you like after the VPS is deployed.
Yes.
You can access a terminal console for your VPS at anytime by logging into our VPS control panel & using the browser based console client, or creating a special proxy console session & using any SSH client to connect to that.
As such, you can access the VPS, even if you IP address get blocked by your VPS firewall, etc.
All VPS have full admin/root access.
Yes, for managed VPS, we will perform complete setup after consultation via our live chat & ticket system. For unmanaged services we can help setting up any of your servers.
We can also provide support for other infrastructure servers (e.g. PBX, database, etc.).
With our cloud KVM service you have the flexibility of creating full virtual server point-in-time snapshots (including the current contents of RAM if required).
This allows you to roll back your entire server to the moment you took the snapshot.
All managed KVM VPS come with 4 free snapshot backups per deployed server. Unmanaged KVM VPS can add snapshots as required for a small fee.
Snapshots can be run manually & also scheduled on an hourly or daily basis.
Managed VPS are also fully backed up on a weekly basis to a local facility for disaster recovery.
In addition, we recommend that you deploy a backup server solution within your virtual private cloud (e.g. FreeNAS), or at another remote location.
